Do you wish?
Do you wish Dylan's vocals were more abrasive?
Do you wish Mark E. Smith's rants were more linear?
Do you like bar bands?
Dude, you have got to get the Hold Steady.

I bought "Your Little Hoodrat Friend" off of iTunes a few months ago. I love it, but I've worried that a whole album of Finn ranting like that would be too much for me. The praises sung by every rock critic in the world over the past year hadn't convinced me, but your reccomendation seals it. They go on the list.
In more examples of my inability to stay current, I am only now able to make the following judgements:
1) Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants is surprisingly decent for what it is
2) Death Cab's latest album is fairly wonderful
3) This new Battlestar Galactica is some great television

Don't you have little *boys*? What is your explanation for having seen Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants? Were you trying to come to terms with your body image issues? I am utterly fascinated.

I can see that you're fascinated.
I can see that you're fascinated.
And yes, we have two boys, but we're raising them as girls.
No really, I got it because it was well reviewed, it has Alexis Beldel from Gilmore Girls, whom I like despite her limited range and hunchback, and all the other movies on the new shelf were things like Saw and Transporter 2. On the same video store trip I also got a disc of Battlestar Galactica, and The Jerk, which Anne has (to my amazement) never seen. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
By the way, does my ass look big in this post?

Not now that you have those magical pants. In fact, your ass looks dreamy.
I'm thinking of raising our girl as a leprechaun.
