He Loves You Because He's A Christian
Are you dissatisfied with the state of the union? Don't worry; Our Leader forgives you:
Good dog.
Ann Curry, NBC: "President Bush will address the nation this evening in the State of the Union address with most Americans polled saying the country is heading in the wrong direction. Earlier, I asked presidential counselor Dan Bartlett if the president will acknowledge the nation's challenges."Don't beat yourself up too much. Our Leader understands that sometimes people falter in their faith, or fail to comprehend how things are inching up here and abroad. The nattering nabobs and all that. It's hard to be strong like Our Leader. We'll be honest, because you deserve that: your performance has been a bit lacking lately. Others might lose confidence that you have what it takes. That you're up to snuff. Worthy of bold leadership. But not Our Leader. He believes in you. Even when you've given up in yourself, he hasn't. You see, he knows you're an American. You can do it. Turn that frown upside down. That's it.
Dan Bartlett, Presidential Advisor: "He'll look at these challenges. And sometimes people have a pessimistic outlook, but not this president. He is very optimistic about the future of our country. Because he's optimistic about the American people."
Good dog.
