The Measure Of A Man

Speaker Denny Hastert today on Rush Limbaugh, via Think Progress:
SPEAKER HASTERT: ...this is a political issue in itself, too, and what we’ve tried to do as the Republican Party is make a better economy, protect this country against terrorism — and we’ve worked at it ever since 9/11, worked with the president on it — and there are some people that try to tear us down. We are the insulation to protect this country, and if they get to me it looks like they could affect our election as well.
Why do the teenage victims of online sexual predators in Congress hate America? If they truly loved our country, they'd lie back and think of 9/11.

Which reminds me, don't forget to measure.

Comments:
I love this comment. I have no idea what it means but I would like to recite it at a poetry reading. New tote bag.

I would make the comments section character-recognition-protected, but then I wouldn't get to see things like this. I'm torn. New Rochelle.

I'm not torn in the least. Please *don't* make the comments protected. I dig these comments the most! New hat-lover.
